Heads up dear home bartender! This ginger-orange sparkler is spicy, spritzy, and so simple!
Finally, a brand new post and I feel we have some catching up to do. I’ll better give you the short story… I already told everyone who listened that the housing market here in Seattle is just plain crazy. After a few tedious weeks of house hunting, we finally found a new home and moved in the day before Christmas. Yippee! Just in time before the moving company would charge us an arm and a leg for storing our stuff. We still had wonderful holidays and beautiful white Christmas although the heater went south but let’s not go there. And then I kinda stumbled into this year, turned around once, and January is almost over. I still have unpacked boxes sitting in every room and I use them as side tables and keep staking magazines on top. It’s always the last 10% that won’t get done but I am at peace with that for now.
But it’s never too late and also always the right time to clink glasses and that’s the reason for this ginger-orange sparkler recipe! Cheers to the new city, New Year, new life and thanks for sticking around while I had been vacationing, moving and settling down again.
Ginger beer is pungent and makes wonderful cocktails like the Moscow mule and dark ‘n’ stormy but I used it as a champagne substitute in this ginger-orange sparkler and love it.
